A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Logan & Harvard

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 /7 p.m for the first month. Then 12pm to 7pm the following month.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 8 weeks.

Start Date: Sept 12th

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 1, 5 and 7.

About the Children:

The two oldest children will be in school full-time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, who is active, energetic, and on the move!

About the Family:

Dad works outside of the home. Mom was diagnosed with cancer and will be home recovering from surgery.
As mom heals from her surgery she will be around more helping out.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

The position is with a wonderful family where the mom has been a stay-at-home mom. She is incredibly sweet and very easy to get along with. During this time, she will be focusing on healing and getting healthy, so she'll need some extra support, especially in the beginning. For the first four weeks, she won’t be able to lift anything, but as she starts feeling better, she’ll gradually be able to help out more. This is a great opportunity for a nurturing nanny who enjoys being part of a collaborative and caring environment.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny manager duties including meal prep, family laundry, light housekeeping, dishes, errands and all childcare.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience with infants, toddlers and school-age children.
Previous experience helping with household management would be nice.
The ideal candidate for this position will be active and energetic, capable of keeping up with three lively boys. They should be able to lift and carry the 1-year-old comfortably. We're looking for someone who is easygoing, patient, and a true team player. This role is perfect for a nanny who can bring a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit to the family.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$34/hour (gross).

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
