About the Children:

Before-school care will be needed for this bright and energetic little boy. In his free time, he enjoys learning about Dinosaurs, playing with his stuffed animals, and imagination-play! He attends an international school where he is learning French and Mandarin. If he is homesick or has a day off, you will be caring for him as your main priority. During the summer, he is in multiple camps.

About the Family:

A single working mom who has a very demanding job as a surgeon.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

This family had a great relationship with the first ABC nanny. This family had a great relationship with the first ABC nanny. Since then they have had Au pairs, and they are coming back to find a family assistant to help in the mornings until the au pair starts at 1:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The position involves standard Family Assistant duties while the child is in school, including laundry, dishes, organizational projects, personal assistant tasks, scheduling, running errands, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. The day begins with arriving in the morning to prepare breakfast and ensure the child is safely dropped off at school, followed by cleaning up the kitchen from the morning routine. During school hours, the focus shifts to completing the outlined Family Assistant responsibilities, ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is nice however not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of in-home nanny experience.
Previous experience with household management duties.
A second language would be nice however not required.
A higher level of education would be preferred.
The ideal candidate will be proactive around the home, they will be 100% reliable and consistent. They will value living a healthy lifestyle and provide a very attentive and loving environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

Mom is offering $30-$33/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
