Located at: Florida & Monroe
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.Thursday: Flexible hours, with the family leaning toward 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 38 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year .
Start Date: Jan 8th 2025

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 5, 3 and 19 months.
About the Children:

This family has three sweet boys with unique personalities. The oldest is thoughtful, gentle, and calm, attending school full-time and summer camps he won't be around too often. The middle child is energetic and lively, loves staying busy, and responds well to rewards. He is potty trained, a great napper, and will be in full-time school starting this summer. The youngest is a cheerful and easygoing toddler who will be home full-time with the nanny. A great eater and napper, he loves playing and mimicking his brothers, making him a joy to care for. Mom will be tag teaming with the nanny caring for the youngest most of the time.

About the Family:
  • Dad works outside of the home and mom works occasionally on contact work.
  • Much of this role will involve tag-teaming with mom, either caring for the children while she handles household management tasks or vice versa
About the Pets:
  • There are no pets in the home.

  • This family is warm, kind, and laid-back, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for their nanny. They view this role as a true partnership, seeing their nanny as a teammate and an extension of their family. They’ve had a wonderful long-term relationship with their previous nanny, who felt valued and appreciated, receiving quarterly bonuses as a testament to their gratitude and generosity. Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family nanny manager duties including laundry, meal prep, light housekeeping, organizational projects, dishes, and errands. Mom and Dad love encouraging outdoor play and fun outings, and they would greatly appreciate a candidate who can plan engaging activities and adventures to keep the children active and happy. All housemanagment will be done during downtime or if mom has the children.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel would be nice however not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ years of in-home experience toodles and school-aged children.
  • Previous experience with household management duties.
  • The ideal candidate will be active, engaging, and an excellent communicator who prioritizes the children’s safety. Strong communication skills are essential, as the family values someone who responds quickly and keeps them informed. Punctuality is a must, as mornings are the busiest and most important part of the day for this family, making this role ideal for someone who is naturally a morning person. The candidate should be interactive, and active, taking charge by planning fun activities and creating experiences. Proactivity is important, whether it’s suggesting projects or offering to help with errands like picking up supplies from the store. Flexibility is also key, as the family appreciates someone who can adapt to schedule changes while fostering a fun and positive environment for the boys.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $55,320 - $63,232,000 per year (gross) plus the opportunity for bonuses!
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering quarterly bonuses and room for growth as they stay with their family!

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire.
