Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 9/10 a.m. to 5/6 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40-45 hours per week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one baby who is 6 months old.

About the Children:

This sweet little girl is a happy and curious baby who thrives on a structured schedule. She wakes up between 6 and 7 AM, takes two solid naps from 9 to 11 AM and 1 to 3 PM, with a shorter nap around 5 PM. She is currently on solids twice a day and absolutely loves eating, showing a great interest in food. While she isn’t crawling yet, she enjoys sitting up on her own, rolling around, and exploring her surroundings. She loves putting everything in her mouth, especially blankets and her favorite toys.

Dual working parents with private office spaces.

About the Pets:

There are two older dogs in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including baby laundry, dishes, light pick up, washing bottles, organizing toys, light errands, planning and researching fun developmental activities and ideas. The family is open to outings as they get to know the nanny.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

1 year of infant experience.
Previous in-home nanny experience.
While not required, the family would love a nanny who speaks Mandarin.
NO screen time.
A furthered level of education past highschool would be preferred.
The ideal candidate will be confident in caring for an infant, knowledgeable about early childhood education and development, and able to create engaging, age-appropriate activities. They should prioritize safety and be open to baby-led weaning. A positive attitude is essential, along with comfort working in a home where parents may occasionally step out for lunch or a coffee.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $22-$26+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $45,760 - $58,240 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
