Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday-Friday 8/9 am to 4/5 pm, 40 hours a week guaranteed. Some additional evening or weekend overtime hours could be available, if nanny is interested.

About the Children:

Care is for a sweet and giggly two-year-old who loves to learn and explore. The family is looking for an engaging, education-focused nanny who can plan fun, developmentally enriching activities while fostering curiosity and creativity. They prefer a nanny who enjoys spending time in the neighborhood and creating engaging experiences at home, as they prioritize their little one’s health during flu season.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office space who work from home.

About the Pets:

One golden retriever lives in the home, so must love dogs!

Additional Notes:

This sweet, outdoorsy family values learning, furthered education, asking questions, and living an active Colorado lifestyle. The family is in a great neighborhood close to a pool, park, and coffee shops. The family also values their Christian religion and would need a nanny who is open to reading Christian books.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard Family Assistant duties including light family laundry, taking the trash out, dishwasher un/load, light cleaning tasks such as swifering, sporadic errands, simple lunch and dinner prep (family will reheat, dinner 5 nights and lunch 3 days a week), coordinating service workers as needed (repair persons, etc)

Travel Requirements:

Travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

The ideal candidate for this position is an expert in their field and has solid 5+ years of nanny experience.
Someone who has furthered their education so some kind of degree or certificate showing commitment to in-home childcare and/or continued education in the nanny industry would be a huge plus!
Must have prior house management experience in a nanny or family assistant role.
The family may request a drug test, they would like to see a clean driving record (including tickets in the past three years), and proactively practice all safety standards related to toddlers and their environment.
The ideal nanny will want to stay and grow with the family for the next couple of years as they plan on extending their family in the future.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$32+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $68,000+ per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering 2+ weeks of PTO, paid sick time, paid major holidays, a health insurance stipend, and guaranteed hours.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement as well as a BMW for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 5+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references.
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu and tap. COVID-19 booster preferred but open.
