Located at: Broadway and Table Mesa

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Wednesday through Friday 7-5. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: June 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 10 and 6.

About the Children:

Their intuitive, emotionally intelligent 10 year old boy is very sporty, social yet sensitive and recharges by reading.
He is a gifted 4th grader who plays baseball 5 days a week and is on a ski team.
Their social, outgoing 6 year old son is in kindergarten and is really artistic and outgoing.
He loves pottery and drama and is in acting classes and acrobatics.
Both boys go to the same school with drop off in the family vehicle being at 7:50AM and pick up being 2:50PM --except on Wednesday mornings the drop off is at 8:50AM.

About the Family:

This is a single-parent home. Mom works primarily outside of the home.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship their previous nannies and the most important component they are seeking is someone who is looking for a longterm arrangement (preferably 2+ years) -- a nanny who wants to invest in their family and become a nurturing, empathetic team partner with Mom.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including grocery shopping, target runs, kids' laundry, organizational projects, facilitating chores and homework, home management tasks, preparing simple meals for the kids, and driving to school and activities.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position but if the nanny was open to traveling with the family, that would be a plus.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience with school-age children
Previous experience with family assistant duties or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
Ideal candidate is open to different nationalities, backgrounds and beliefs and is looking to join a laid-back, supportive, close knit household.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,800 - 54,600 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a family vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s needs.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
