Children's Ages: Care will be for one baby who is 7 weeks old.

About the Children:

Their sweet 7 week old daughter is a happy and healthy baby girl who is settling into a napping and eating schedule. She loves her stroller rides in the neighborhood to the nearby park.

About the Family:

Dual working parents. Mom primarily works from home in a private home office. Dad works full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has two indoor cats - all candidates must be pet friendly.
It's a big bonus if the nanny is able to check in on the house and cats when family is away traveling.

Additional Notes:

These casual first-time parents are seeking a knowledgeable nanny with previous infant experience to provide loving care for their firstborn baby girl as well as offer support and guidance as they navigate her first year of development.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and baby-related household tasks such as baby laundry, keeping the baby's room tidy and organized, emptying/loading the dishwasher etc.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

Must have 2+ years of professional nanny experience with newborns/ infants.
Bilingual in another language is a huge plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,592 - $53,248 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
