Located at: Exposition and University

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is happy to guarantee 20 hours per week. They are open to two 10-hour days or 3 shorter days per week, Monday through Friday - days must remain consistent.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: Family would love a PA/HM who will be with them for years to come. Must be able to make a minimum 1-2 year commitment for a great fit.

About the Children:

This family has grown adult children; no childcare is included in this role.

About the Family:

One principal in the home works from home full-time and has a very busy schedule. While the other is semi-retired and is in and out of the home throughout the day.
They are casual, easy-going, loyal couple who is looking for someone who detail-oriented, committed, hard working, and proactive to support them.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home, but they often dog sit for their adult son - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard personal/household assistant duties including sorting and opening mail, gathering tax info, running errands, grocery shopping, light meal prep, paying bills, laundry, and overseeing home maintenance/ vendors.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2-5+ years of personal assistant and/or executive household management experience.
Previous experience with handling finances and bill paying is preferred.
College degree preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate is organized, competent, honest, and detail-oriented. The ability to be flexible and confidently handle tasks at hand is very important.
Integrity and confidentiality are important traits in this home; the candidate will be asked to sign an NDA.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $40-$50/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $41,600 - $52,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ work-weeks of paid time off (4 days), major holidays off with pay, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
