Located at: 13th Ave and Lafayette, near Cheesman Park

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours a week but is flexible for any hours over 30 based on candidate's needs.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: As soon as possible but flexible for the right person

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 18 months old.

About the Children:

This toddler is on the move and is so close to running. He loves imaginary play, playing in water, and making friends.

About the Family:

Dad works full-time in his office outside of the home.
Mom is an artist and has an art studio in a private home space so she is primarily at home or in and out.
They have a casual, friendly, and they are very health-conscious.
Both parents have busy schedules and a lot of moving pieces in their household.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home but they plan to get one - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has had great nannies in the past. They are excited to welcome a new member to their parenting and household team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including total and complete childcare responsibilities, online grocery shopping, helping with returns, simple family meal prep, light household tasks including dishes, trash, general laundry and linens, tidying of general living spaces, and home organization projects.
They have a housekeeper once a month for heavy cleaning.

Travel Requirements:

The family would love someone open to occasional travel with the family with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of consecutive nanny experience with infants and toddlers or teaching experience with younger children
Previous experience with family assistant duties.
The ideal candidate is positive, engaging, energetic and will be a very attentive, supportive, and loving support for their sweet son.
The family is really hoping for an amazing nanny who can take care of childcare, but can also help fulfill household duties during downtime.
Other important qualities that the family values: clear, open, and direct communication, adaptable, and someone who is reliable and operationally excellent.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,800 - $83,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to discussing a possible health insurance stipend.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including tdap and flu.
