Position Highlights

Located at: Greenwood Village
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 30 guaranteed hours per week. OR Monday through Thursday, 9am to 3/4pm, 24 to 28 hours a week guaranteed. Occasional date nights 1–2x per month would be greatly appreciated (scheduled in advance).
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is either a long-term position at 30 hours per week with a 1+ year commitment, or a 6-month commitment at 24 to 28 hours per week. 
Start Date: August 2026

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for four children, ages 7, 5, and 2, with baby number four on the way.
About the Children:

The two oldest children attend school until 3:00 PM and are active, social, and engaged in their routines and activities. The youngest attends school until 11:30 AM and is in a fun, curious stage of early development. This role will shift into childcare in the afternoons, supporting after-school routines, transportation, and engagement.

About the Family:
  • This is a warm, busy household with both parents working from home, while also spending time in out-of-home offices. Mom will be home caring for the newborn for the foreseeable future. The family values a well-run, organized home and is excited to welcome someone who can take ownership of household management while being a supportive presence for the children.
About the Pets:
  • The family has one friendly rescue dog. Responsibilities will include dog walks and occasional trips to the groomer.
Additional Notes:
  • This family had a wonderful relationship with their previous ABC nanny, who was with them for three years. They are truly hoping to find another long-term Family Assistant who will become an integral part of their home and daily rhythm.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • This is a true Family Assistant role with a strong focus on household management during school hours. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized home, family laundry, meal prepping, cooking light meals for the children, dishes, meal prep, running errands, managing household inventory, coordinating vendors, pet care, and taking on special organizational projects.
    In the afternoons, the role transitions into childcare, including school pick-ups, activity drop-offs, and engaging with the children in a positive, structured, and supportive way. A vehicle will be provided for all on-the-job driving.
Travel Requirements:
  • The family enjoys domestic travel 1 time a year and would love to have their Family Assistant join them if they are open to traveling.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • Must have 1+ year of strong family assistant or household management experience.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience as a nanny, nanny manager, or family assistant.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive, have a self-starting individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to stay busy and anticipate needs, have a natural inclination toward organization, cleanliness, and system-building
  • Comfortably managing a home independently and taking ownership of daily operations
  • Experience caring for multiple children and balancing childcare with household responsibilities
  • Warm, engaging, and dependable with children, while prioritizing household management tasks
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Pet-friendly and comfortable assisting with dog care

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $32–$38/hour (gross), depending on experience.
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2 weeks of paid time off, paid sick days, and paid major holidays. A vehicle will be provided for use on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • The family is open to offering a health insurance stipend.

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
