Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family is offering two flexible schedule options: 4 days per week, 6 hours per day OR 3 days per week, 7 hours per day. Days are flexible and open to discussion. Family can guarantee 20 hours a week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two boys, ages 6.5 years old and almost 3 years old

About the Children:

These two brothers are sweet, loving, energetic, and full of personality!
The younger child is very active, always on the move, and thrives with structure—timers and transition warnings help him move smoothly between activities. He is nearly fully potty trained (nighttime still in progress) and enjoys active, hands-on play.
The older child is imaginative and curious, with a big love for dragons! He enjoys running and playing but also loves quieter activities like puzzles, art, coloring, and creative play.

About the Family:

Mom is typically at home (working from home, attending school, and managing the household), and Dad is in and out of the home. The household is relaxed and busy, with a lived-in, active feel.
This is a warm, easygoing family looking for a gentle and nurturing nanny who will help the children feel safe, supported, and loved.

About the Pets:

The family has two large black labs and one hypoallergenic cat. Mom primarily manages the dogs. - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family had a great relationship with their past nanny. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone proactive, motivated, and who enjoys outings and adventures with the kids.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties are required, including preparing meals and snacks for the children, managing naps for the younger child, engaging in active and imaginative play, and keeping children’s areas tidy and organized.
The nanny should feel comfortable taking both children on outings such as parks, libraries, and museums, as well as supporting emotional development and transitions throughout the day.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience caring for both toddlers and school-aged children
Warm, gentle, and nurturing caregiving style
Confident managing active children and “big feelings”
Comfortable working in a home where a parent is present
Flexible, easygoing, and adaptable personality

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $32 – $36/hour (gross).

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
