Position Highlights

Located at: Cherry Hills Village
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family guarantees 40 hours per week and can typically provide the schedule 1–2 weeks in advance. The family is open to rotating some later evenings to a 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule when possible, though occasional evenings until 7:00 PM will still be needed. Sunday & Monday always off. Typical Schedule: Tuesday – Friday: Typically between 10:00/11:00 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM 3 out of 4 Saturday's a month: Typically, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Flexibility to request schedule adjustments or occasional Saturdays off with advance notice.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-in option is available. Family is happy to provide a private, one bedroom apartment in Avra Lone Tree. 
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: August/ September 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for four children ages 6, 6, 5, and 1.5 years old. However, the family assistant will rarely be responsible for all four at any given point.
About the Children:
  • The family's three oldest are in school full-time.
  • The youngest is a busybody and enjoys playing outside in her yard.
About the Family:
  • Mom is a SAHM and will work alongside the Family Assistant.
  • Dad works full-time and often travels for work.
About the Pets:
  • This family has one dog - all candidates must be pet friendly.
Additional Notes:
  • The family intentionally maintains extra support in the home (au pair and housekeeper) to ensure the role feels collaborative and manageable.
  • Mom is highly involved and looking for a true teammate who can jump in where needed, anticipate needs, and help keep the household running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties including,
    • Provide care for 0–3 children at a time while tag teaming alongside Mom and additional household staff
    • Assist with maintaining organization and flow throughout the home.
    • Support household management tasks including tidying, organizing children’s spaces, inventory management, errands, light meal/snack prep for children, and helping maintain smooth daily household operations.
    • Support the day-to-day needs of a busy but well-supported household.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes trips to destinations like California and Hawaii. Advanced notice and additional compensation will be provided.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ year of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children
  • Previous experience with household management duties
  • Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
  • No visible tattoos or facial piercings (small nose rings acceptable; no septum piercings).
  • Ideally, the candidate will be a Colorado resident.
  • Must be comfortable working in a household with other staff (au pair and housekeeper).
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Comfortable with occasional late evenings or weekend shifts.
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
  • Comfortable working with children of varying ages and needs.
  • The ideal candidate is collaborative, takes initiative, and is easy to work with.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $33-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $68,640 - $72,800 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is open to providing housing for the right candidate.

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
