Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday-Thursday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with 34 guaranteed hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: By November 2nd

About the Children:

The family’s daughter is a happy, social, and easygoing baby who loves being outside, going for walks, and playing.
She is formula-fed, has started eating purées, and follows an established feeding and nap routine. She is sitting independently, rolling, and beginning to work toward crawling.
The family welcomes outings and would love a nanny who enjoys engaging with her through play and supporting her development.

Their home is laid-back and organized, with an emphasis on keeping things clean and functional without being overly formal.

About the Pets:

The family has two friendly, short-haired cats. No pet care is required.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard Nanny duties, including attentive infant care, bottle-feeding, preparing and serving baby food, children's laundry, maintaining baby-related areas, and keeping the spaces used throughout the day tidy.
The nanny will follow the baby's established feeding and nap routines, provide engaging, age-appropriate play, and take her outside for walks and outings.
Helping prepare homemade baby purées is also appreciated.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family has a cabin in Blue River and would welcome a nanny who is open to joining them occasionally, though travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional infant or newborn experience
An understanding of age-appropriate development and milestones is preferred.
They are nurturing, patient, positive, and engaging, with a genuine interest in helping babies learn and grow through play.
The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and proactive about communication, with reliable transportation for the commute to Golden.
Someone active and who likes the outdoors will love this family!
They are comfortable following the family's established routines and working collaboratively with parents.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $53,040-$70,720 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job, depending on the nanny's preference.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations and ideally the annual flu vaccination.
