Located at: Lowell and 32nd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Any 3 days off the week, one must be Mondays, 8AM to 3PM. The family will guarantee 21 hours a week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 4-years-old.

This role involves very minimal childcare, as this child is in school full-time.
He loves to chat, ask questions, and play outside. He is silly and is always using his imagination.

Mom and Dad both WFH.

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has had other household employees in the past. Moving forward, they will value traits like initiative and punctuality. They are excited to welcome a new family assistant to their home very soon!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including assistance with school drop off, working with home vendors, organizational projects, family laundry, family meal prep, planning travel and activities, running errands, grocery shopping, and general tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of family assistant experience with school-age children
The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy and reliable.
Someone who takes pride in their work and can anticipate needs will thrive with this family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $16,400 - $19,100 for the 6-months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard short-term benefits, including 3 days of paid time off, paid holidays tbd, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
