Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 3 days per week (flexible on days) from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The family is happy to guarantee 21 hours a week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 4 months, going until August 21st.

About the Children:

This little one is happy, giggly, snuggly, and loves being around people. He is very active and always on the go—crawling, cruising on furniture, and close to walking. He enjoys both independent play and interactive engagement like reading, singing, and floor play. He loves going to the park, especially the slide, and has a playset at home he enjoys exploring.

About the Family:

Mom currently works from home (this may change in the future). Dad is a stay-at-home parent who is managing a medical condition that causes significant fatigue in the afternoons, so having a nanny has been incredibly helpful in supporting the household.
The family has a warm, casual dynamic—mom is high-energy, while dad is more mellow and playful. They value communication, kindness, and a gentle parenting approach.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

The family recently relocated to Denver and previously had a nanny their child loved. They are looking for someone similarly engaging, hands-on, and nurturing. While parents may be home, they will not be hovering. Outings may be introduced over time, but the role will start with primarily home-based care and neighborhood walks.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including are required, including doing the baby's laundry and bed linens, making her meals, keeping her room and common areas tidy.
Staying on the daily schedule, planning educational activities, and going on fun outings.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Provide attentive, engaging care for a 1-year-old
Light housekeeping, tidying, and basic household support (flexible based on comfort level)
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
100% reliability
The ideal candidate is happy to take the children on outings, can stay organized, is patient, kind, and has full focus on the children.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a weekly compensation of $630 - $735 (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Given the temporary nature of this 4-month placement, PTO is not included. That said, the family is thoughtful and flexible, and open to offering paid holidays should any fall on regularly scheduled working days during the course of the contract.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
