Located at: Ault

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: April 6th to May 20th will be Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 5/5:30 pm with one day a week being 12 pm-8 pm for a date night. Staring May 21st the schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm for the remainder of the weeks. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 16 weeks.

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 7 and 11.

About the Children:

The oldest is a tomboy preteen who is kind, has a good heart, and is a rule follower. She is really into 4H and basketball.

The youngest is outgoing, loves animals, and likes to sing and dance. She has epilepsy, very infrequent seizures, and her trained service dog goes to school with her.

About the Family:

Mom and Dad run a business together and they are both in and out of the home.
Dad travels often for work.

About the Pets:

This family has two indoor/outdoor cats, two small dogs, and one large trained service Goldendoodle - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current ABC Nanny, who will be going on maternity leave starting April 16th. The family is hoping for an interim nanny to help provide coverage while she is out.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including child meal prep, child and family laundry, light housekeeping, general tidying, help with school pick up, and extracurricular activities, organizing projects, and light errands.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of family assistant experience with school-age children
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
The ideal candidate will be organized, comfotable wit hmonthly check-ins, and easy-going.
The family limits screen time, so a candidate who can fill the day without screen is ideal.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $19,200 - $22,400 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering including paid holidays, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.
They are open to PTO if the candiate already has something planned during the duration of the contract.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
