Located at: Evergreen Pk and Stagecoach

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Flexible on 3 days a week for 7 hour shifts between the hours of 9AM - 5PM. Family is flexible on which 3 days and the times based on candidate's availability. Wednesdays are a preferred day but the family is flexible and is happy to guarantee 21 hours a week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6 months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: Mid- August

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 12 and 9.

About the Children:

These sweet, smart brothers are best friends who love mountain biking, drawing, and exploring outdoors.
They are both in school full-time.
The oldest brother is high-functioning on the spectrum, thrives with patience and calm energy, and follows a no-processed-food diet. He’s bright, creative, and benefits from quiet moments when overstimulated.
The younger brother is gentle and kind, with some sensory sensitivities. He prefers low-key environments and close connections.

About the Family:

Mom is a pilot and is gone for 20 days a month and she knows her schedule a month in advance.
Dad WFH majority of the time, but does take meetings outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one dog in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has previously hired summer nannies but is excited to build a meaningful connection with their first full-time longterm nanny!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including family laundry, school pick up, homework assistance, general tidying, grocery shopping, light cooking, and organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience with household management / family assistant duties
Experience with high-functioning autism is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate for this family is calm, kind, and genuinely pleasant to be around.
They’re flexible on background, experience and education as the most important factor is finding the right personality fit for their home.
The kids respond especially well to clear goals and positive reinforcement.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
