Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, and Friday's 8:00am- 5:00pm, with a guarantee of 47 hours/weekly.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-Out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: June 1st, 2024

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4.5 and 2.5.

About the Children:

The main care will be for their quiet, cuddly 2.5-year-old son. Their older son, who is more energetic and active, attends school most days and will start kindergarten five days a week in the fall.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home but the family may get a dog in the future.

Additional Notes:

The family has successfully employed two amazing nannies in the past.
This is a position where you can grow with a family. Candidates who are interested in a multi-year commitment would be ideal.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including preparing kids' meals and snacks, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. This family has a home in the mountains and would love a candidate who is open to traveling domestically with the family.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

3+ years of experience with toddlers and school-age children
Previous experience as a nanny manager or family assistant is preferred, if possible.
Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, too!
The ideal candidate should be energetic and have enthusiasm for outdoor activities while demonstrating a passion for planning fun, educational experiences for the boys.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $72,000- $78,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job (must have your own vehicle to get to and from work, and to use on occasion.)

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
