Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 9/10 a.m. to 5/6 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+

Start Date: January 5th

Children's Ages: Care will be for two 5 month old babies.

About the Children:

Care will be for healthy and happy infant twins. Mom and Dad are in survival mode right now as they work to establish a loose schedule based on wake windows and feeding times. They’re hoping to find a confident, experienced nanny who can share any helpful tips or tricks along the way.

About the Family:

Dual working parents.
Mom works from home and is self-employed; she will be popping in and out throughout the day.
Dad works downtown.

About the Pets:

One sweet small dog lives in the home.

Additional Notes:

First-time parents adjusting to their new life with twins.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including the baby's laundry, washing bottles, general tidying, dishes, and taking out the diaper pail.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of infant experience as a nanny.
Must have experince with young children close in age.
Must be 100% confident and strong in your abilities to care for infants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infant development and milestones, and feel confident caring for infant twins. We’re looking for someone easygoing and collaborative, as Mom will be popping in and out throughout the day when she’s not working. This person must be a true team player, someone who can offer suggestions and share helpful ideas without coming across as bossy or inflexible.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $31-$34/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $64,480 - $70,720 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid major holidays with some addtional days, and paid sick days.

Any Additional Perks:

The family is open to the nanny taking the twins on outings as they get older. To start, they are just open to walks.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu shot and TDaP.
