A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Roxborough Park Rd. & Chatfield Lake
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Care is needed 3 to 4 days a week for the month of June and 2-3 days a week for July/beginning of August, nannies' choice (preferably Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2/3 p.m) With an occasional date night. The family is happy to guarantee 20 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 12 weeks.
Start Date: ASAP

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children, a 3.5 year old and a 1.5 year old. 
About the Children:

These toddlers are out of school for the summer and looking forward to fun educational activities with their nanny! Mom is pregnant with their third and will be focusing on the newborn.

About the Family:
  • Mom will be focused on the new baby.
  • Dad works full-time.
About the Pets:
  • There are no pets in the home.
Additional Notes:
  • Mom will be home, but her focus will be on the new baby arriving at the end of June/beginning of July. She is looking for a nanny to come up with fun educational activities, physical activities and ideas for their older two. 

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard nanny manager duties including meal prep for the children, laundry, dishes, organizational projects, and light housekeeping.

Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ years of infant & toddler experience.
  • The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong background in Early Childhood Education.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, demonstrating courteous behavior and mindful practices to prevent the spread of illness.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a weekly compensation of $600 - $700.
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu and tdap.
