A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: W 160th Ave Sheridan Pkwy

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. plus one Saturday night per month (agreed upon in advance by both parties). The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 6, 11, and 14 years old.

About the Children:

The youngest is a rising 1st grader. He is active, playful, in an afterschool program until 6pm. Loves the playroom, pool, and golf lessons.
The middle child is a 6th grader who thrives with extra support and structure. She has ADHD and OCD and does best with gentle guidance around routines and emotional regulation. She recently joined cheerleading, which has been a great outlet and something she truly enjoys.
The oldest is in 9th grade. She is mature, responsible, and independent. Needs occasional pickup from soccer. She’s a rule-follower who has always loved nannies, teachers, and counselors.

Additional Notes:

This family has had great relationships with their previous nannies. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties, including school pickup, homework help, family laundry, dishes, light housekeeping, organizational projects, light cooking, dog walking, scheduling appointments, and managing the family calendar.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ year of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience with household management duties
Experience with ABA Therapy would be a huge plus!
The ideal nanny is calm, attentive, and especially focused on supporting the middle child, while also balancing the needs of the other two as they transition into a new school year.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $45,240 - $48,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 8 days of paid time off (additional days when the family is traveling), paid major holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire?
