Located at: E Tufts Ave and Franklin St
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility for some occasional evenings. The family is happy to guarantee 50 hours per week, with 10 hours of overtime pay. Occasional later hours may be needed to assist with after-school activities.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children, ages 7, 6, and 4, with a fourth baby arriving in July.
About the Children:
  • This family is expecting a baby in July! Their three older children are full of energy and big personalities.
  • The oldest is in first grade and is creative, inquisitive, and a natural leader who enjoys active play and benefits from supportive guidance.
  • The middle child is artistic, thoughtful, easygoing, and also goes at the same school with the oldest.
  • The youngest is energetic and curious, loves exploring and learning through play, and is currently in pre-K.
About the Family:
  • Dual working parents with highly variable schedules—mom is a doctor, and dad works from home in a detached office when not traveling.
  • The family prioritizes screen-free time, enjoys gardening together, playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
About the Pets:
  • There are two cats in the home, one of which is on medication twice a day. All candidates must be pet-friendly.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has had a great relationship with their previous nanny, who worked for them for five years. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home—someone proactive, motivated, and able to confidently handle the oldest child’s behavioral challenges. Candidates must be firm when needed, supportive, and fully engaged as part of the family’s parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties, including staying on routine, supporting milestone development, planning age-appropriate activities, organizational projects, light housekeeping, meal prep, family laundry, dishes, errands and other household tasks. Approximately 85% of your time will focus on the childcare, with the remainder supporting the household as needed.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is required for the position. They would love their nanny to join them on one international trip.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 5 years of experience with infants to school-age children
  • Previous experience with family assistant duties or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
  • Experience with multiple children and required.
  • Experience with managing a variety of children’s behaviors would be a big plus.
  • Spanish speaking is highly desired and would be a huge competitive advantage.
  • Experience driving electric vehicles, as the family’s car is a Tesla and may need to be driven with the children.
  • Flexible, 110% reliable, and organized with strong time-management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $35 - $38/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $91,000 - $98,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance stipend.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
