Located at: Sloans Lake: W 29th & Perry St

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will need slight flexibility on occasion by an hour or two. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 16 months with the potential to go longer.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who will be 15 months old.

About the Children:

This happy and healthy little girl is crawling. She loves books and going to the park!

About the Family:

Dual hybrid work-from-home parents with private office space.

About the Pets:

This family has a sweet older dog that will be around. The nanny will be responsible for feeding him and letting him in and out throughout the day.

Additional Notes:

This family had a great relationship with their last Nanny. They are sad to see her go but look forward to welcoming a new nanny into their home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The primary focus is to look after our daughter and nurture her with love and come up with developmental activities (including outings). Beyond that, they would like help with dishes, baby laundry, meal prep/cooking for their daughter, running some light errands, and helping look after our sweet 10-year-old dog.

Travel Requirements:

Potential opportunities for travel and evening/weekend care (not required, if nanny has availability and is open to it).

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience with toddlers
Must have 5 years of nanny experince.
An early childhood education background would be a big plus!
Must be physically active and able to ride bikes, go for hikes, and chase after a toddler.
Must have an understanding of education and developmental milestone support.
The ideal candidate will be loving, reliable, and patient, with a strong emphasis on early childhood development and learning through play. They will take initiative in creating engaging, educational activities and planning fun outings that support growth and curiosity.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross) based on recent full-time, long-term professional nanny experince. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 to $72,000 a year.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering 12 days of PTO, 8 paid major holidays, and gas/mileage reimbursement for on-the-job driving.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 5+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
