Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is almost 1.

About the Children:

Care will be for an almost one-year-old little boy who is active, social, and very curious. He is adventurous by nature and loves to explore his surroundings, so someone who enjoys engaging, hands-on play and keeping up with a busy toddler will be a great fit. He thrives with a gentle, responsive approach to care.

About the Family:

Dual work-from-home parents with private office spaces.

About the Pets:

One sweet doodle lives in the home, so all candidates must love dogs.

Additional Notes:

The family had a mixed experience with their previous nanny. They are looking for a positive person, someone who is warm and engaging, to join their family. Once the family gets to know the nanny, they will be open to outings such as local story time, classes, parks, and play dates.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including all of the babies' laundry, helping unload and load the dishwasher daily, picking up around the home, prepping meals, and washing and sterilizing bottles and breast pump.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Must be kind, warm, and nurturing, and collaborative and respectful in all communication.
They do ask the nanny to not wear any strong fragranced products while at work.
The ideal nanny will be warm, loving, and nurturing, and truly enjoy cuddling and building a close bond with the child. They will feel comfortable working with an easygoing, kind, and collaborative couple. The family follows a gentle, more natural approach to sleep and routines and does not use cry-it-out methods, so they are looking for a nanny who can align with and support that parenting style.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $52,000 - $63,700 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
I am a non-smoker and not around secondhand smoke.
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
