Located at: E 6th Ave & N Monaco St

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 /8:30 a.m. to 4/4:30 p.m. with some flexibility for date nights. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: June 1st

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is just over a year old.

About the Children:

This toddler is happy and healthy guy and will be in Montessori for 6-7 hours/day (typically 8-3). He will be home full-time in the summer.
He loves to play outside, ride his bike, and read books.
He is in school full-time and enjoys his classmates.

About the Family:

Mom WFH most days but occasionally takes meetings outside of the home.
Dad is transitioning positions and will likely work full-time outside of the home.
Family has a very healthy lifestyle. They are looking for someone who appreciates it and is willing to support their lifestyle/needs.

About the Pets:

This family has two indoor cats and two dogs - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including children's laundry, light tidying, rotating and organizing the nursery, and helping with errands.
Additionally, the family is seeking someone who enjoys grocery shopping, meal prepping and assisting with light cooking for all three of the family members. Mom has a Pintrest page full of ideas and is excited to work with you! These duties can be done while their little one is at school during the day.
All candidates should be pet friendly! They are looking for someone to walk the dogs daily, take them to the groomers and transport them to the vets, as needed.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers
Previous experience with household management duties is strongly preferred.
A Montessori background is highly preferred, but not required.
The ideal candidate has longevity in past roles and plans to stick in a new role for years to come!

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $35-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $72,800 - $83,200 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including annual flu shots (Covid preferred not required).
