Located at: Jewell Ave and Yale Ave

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with some flexibilty for additional hours on occasion. The family is happy to guarantee 45 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: June 15th

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4.5 years and 9-months.

About the Children:

The oldest child is in school full time but will be home for all school breaks. She loves to read, make friends, and be outside.
The youngest is on track with all milestones. He is eating solids with formula and is a good sleeper!

About the Family:

Mom is a stay-at-home parent.
Dad works full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one large Golden Retriever - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who is heading home to help family. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including child laundry, meal prep, light housekeeping, organizing the home, grocery shopping, running errands and light pet care.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes approximately two trips per year (4-7 days each) and would love their nanny to travel with them.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

4+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers
Experience caring for multiple children at one time is required
Previous experience with household management duties
A proven track record of longevity with past fams is a requirement.
Candidates within a 20-minute commute will be given extra consideration.
The ideal candidate has plans to stick around for many years to come and truly enjoys working with children.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering approximately $30- $32/ hour (gross) + OT for the last 5 hours. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $75,000-$80,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations
