Located at: Colorado and Montview

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with flexibility for additional hours on occasion. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week. Overnights and traveling are required, advanced notice will be given.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 6 and 4 years old.

About the Children:

Both children are in school full-time, 8am to 3pm.
Their oldest is on the spectrum and highly functioning. He is very smart, loves playing with his Legos, and is silly.
The youngest is social, compassionate, and on the move! She likes to play soccer and spend time outside on her bike or scooter.
They have a very close relationship.

About the Family:

Mom works in real estate and is in and out throughout the day.
Dad works outside of the home.
An NDA will be in place.

About the Pets:

This family has two sweet dogs, one being a service animal - all candidates must be pet friendly. The family assistant will just have to let the dogs out throughout the day.
They would like someone to pet sit when the family travels.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 5+ years. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
The family has a chef, dog walker, and housekeepers.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including child laundry, lschool transportation, managing the family calendar, home organization projects, general tidying, running errands, light grocery shopping, working with vendors, keeping up with house maintenance, and overall support in the family's day-to-day.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel internationally with the family is required for the position. Advanced notiec will be given.
The ability to stay overnight with the children while Mom and Dad travel is also required, approximately 2 weeks/ year.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
1+ year of family assistant experience
Prior experience working with neurodivergent children is preferred
The willingness to grow with this family for years to come is preferred.
The ideal candidate is patient, engaged, and takes initiative throughout the day.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $38-$48/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $79,040 - $99,840 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.
The family may have a nanny car for the candidate to use in the future.
Additional compensation will be provided for overnights and traveling.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations
