Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for a 17-month-old toddler and an 11-week-old baby.
About the Children:
  • The energetic 17-month-old enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible! He loves gardening, visiting the zoo, music activities, and exploring the world around him. He is currently on the waitlist for a Montessori preschool and may attend half-days Monday through Thursday if accepted.
  • His little sister is an easygoing 11-week-old who has recently transitioned to bottles after nursing. Since Mom has been wearing her frequently while caring for her toddler, the family is looking forward to establishing a more consistent nap routine once their nanny begins.
About the Family:
  • This warm, welcoming family values a Montessori-inspired approach to parenting, encouraging independence while using gentle redirection to guide behavior.
  • Mom works a hybrid schedule and will be in the office two days per week beginning at the end of September.
  • Dad works as a home builder and spends much of his day out visiting job sites, though his schedule offers some flexibility.
About the Pets:
  • The family has two friendly dogs—a Labrador and a Labradoodle. No pet care is required - all candidates must be pet friendly.
Additional Notes:
  • They are first-time nanny employers and are excited to welcome a long-term caregiver to become an important part of their parenting team.
