Located at: Northfield / Central Park area - near Green Valley Ranch Blvd and Chambers Rd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Guaranteed 35 hours weekly, although many weeks you'll work less! Schedule is based around mom's work schedule and is typically 4 days/week, with shifts between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., including 1–2 weekend shifts per month. No overnights needed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: Late October - November 1, 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 3 years and 3.5 months.

About the Children:

The infant will be the primary focus of care. She is happy and healthy, primarily nursing, and currently working on taking a bottle.
The 3-year-old attends full-time daycare nearby. She is loving and initially a little shy, and enjoys imaginative play, tea parties, Magna-Tiles, dance parties, cooking, and baking.
The nanny will occasionally care for both children for a few hours.

About the Family:

Mom works full-time outside of the home.
Dad works outside of the home primarily, with 1-2 days a week at home in his private office space.
First-time nanny employers looking for a reliable, warm, communicative nanny.
The family is vegetarian, with eggs and dairy okay. The nanny is welcome to eat whatever they prefer.

About the Pets:

The family has one medium-sized, 6-year-old terrier mix. Walking the dog while taking the baby for a stroller walk would be appreciated.

Additional Notes:

A housekeeper comes every two weeks for deep cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including infant care, toddler care, daycare transportation, age-appropriate activities, children’s laundry, meal preparation, and tidying child-related spaces.
Prepare simple vegetarian meals and school lunches, load/unload the dishwasher, and occasionally care for both children. The nanny must be a safe and reliable driver for daycare transportation.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

3+ years of nanny experience
1+ year of infant-care experience, ideally in a nanny setting.
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
Highly reliable, punctual, organized, and communicative.
100% flexible and comfortable with early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts.
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $54,600 - $63,700 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 8 days of paid time off, paid sick days, and paid holidays determined by the family’s schedule.
Gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job when a parent is home.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu.
