A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Wadsworth and 32nd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 24 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months while they wait for their daycare spot to open up.

Start Date: May 11th

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children who are 4 and 5 months. They are 6 weeks apart.

About the Children:

These two babies are cousins!
They are happy and healthy and on track with all milestones.
Both are generally happy, easy-going, and take bottles.

About the Family:

Family number 1:
- Mom and Dad work full-time outside of the home.
- They have one large dog.
Family number 2:
- Mom works full-time from home
- Dad works a hybrid scheudle and will be in and out.
- They have no pets.

Additional Notes:

The family hasn't fully decided if the care will be in just one of the homes, so they would prefer if the nanny is open to going to both households. (10 minutes apart)

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including preparing and cleaning bottles, supporting milestones, going on walks around the neighborhood, and light tidying.
No other household duties are required.
Both families are open to outings as the children get a little older.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with infants
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, happy to establish a schedule, and easy to communicate with.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $18,000 - $21,000 over 6-months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard short-term benefits, including 3 days of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations
