Position Highlights

Located at: Lincoln & I-25
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will need occasional help until 6pm during busy work seasons typically 2 to 3 days a week. The family is happy to guarantee 45 to 48 hours per week and will pay overtime for any hours worked over 40.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out .
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year or more.
Start Date: ASAP but flexible for the right fit.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children a two year old and a newborn.
About the Children:

Care is for a sweet and active 2-year-old who loves being on the go, learning through fun, enriching activities, and enjoying the Colorado sunshine. Care will also be for a newborn baby who loves to snuggle.

About the Family:
  • Dual working/WFH parents with private office space who work from home.
About the Pets:
  • There are two dogs in the home, so must love dogs.
Additional Notes:
  • Outdoorsy family values learning and further education. They are seeking to teach their kids Christian values, so Nanny will need to be comfortable reading the bible to the children and saying “grace" before meals. Due to the newborn at home, they are only seeking low-exposure activities that are outside.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties such as unloading and loading the dishwasher, tidying the kitchen, living spaces, and dining room, keeping the dogs’ water bowl full, managing recurring or one-off contractors’ service visits, cooking for the children daily, cooking dinner for the family 3 days a week, meal prepping for the family, grocery ordering and restocking, family laundry, family linens, and occasional errands. For cooking and HM, the family is willing to guarantee 5 to 8 hours of overtime, so 5 to 8 hours a week will be dedicated to Household management and cooking without childcare responsibilities. 
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • The ideal candidate for this position is an expert in their field and has a solid 10+ years of related childcare experience, with most of that experience as a nanny, family assistant, and or nanny manager.
  • Must have at least 1 solid year of household management or family assistant experience.
  • The family may request a drug test.
  • They would like to see a clean driving record (no more than one ticket in the past 2 years).
  • Bonuses: deep understanding of and education in newborn development; Montessori method; baby sign language; experience with newborn nutrition (formula prep, breastmilk storage, introducing solids, etc.), and some experience/training in newborn sleep training (during the day; the family will manage at night).
  • It would be a big bonus to have experience with newborn nutrition (formula prep, breastmilk storage, introducing solids, etc.), and some experience/training in newborn sleep training (during the day; the family will manage at night).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push up to 50 pounds, and walk safely up and down 3-6 flights of stairs while carrying an infant.
  • The ideal candidate will be loving, positive, highly detailed, great at multi-tasking, punctual, and comfortable using various iPhone apps to manage tasks, calendars, and baby logs.
  • MUST be socially aware of not bringing in germs while they have a newborn. They prefer a nanny without a close-knit social life to avoid exposure to germs.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $32-$35+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $93,800 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering 2 weeks of PTO, paid sick time, paid major holidays, a health insurance stipend (depending on the candidate's rate), overtime hours, guaranteed hours, and a luxury vehicle for on-the-job driving.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is open to offering health insurance reimbursement, depending on the nanny's hourly rate, and a car for on-the-job driving.

  • Have a minimum of 10+ years of applicable professional experience, verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Willing to take a drug test.
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker or vaper
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu and Tdap. COVID-19 booster strongly preferred, but the family is open to discussion.
