Located at: Daniels Park Rd & McArthur Ranch Rd
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: During the school year, Monday through Thursday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility for an occasional overnights. During the summer, the family expects to adjust the schedule to an earlier start, potentially with shorter days or on occasion a four-day workweek. The family is happy to guarantee 35 hours per week and would occasionally need to flex up to 40 hours.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position that will go until August 1st, with the potential to go long-term for the right fit.

Children's Ages: Care will be for five children ages 11, 9, 7, 5 and 2.5 years old.
About the Children:

This is a vibrant, fast-paced household with five children, each with their own unique personalities and busy schedules. The home is active and on the go, with a mix of structured activities, outdoor play, and creative time. A few of the children are high-functioning neurodivergent, which may not be noticeable but shows up in individual quirks and preferences. They thrive with a caregiver who is consistent, predictable, and clear in communication, offering a calm and steady presence.

Overall, this is a lively, loving home that would be a wonderful fit for a family assistant who is energetic, organized, and confident in managing multiple children with varying needs. The ideal candidate can keep up with a busy schedule while also bringing structure, patience, and warmth to the day-to-day flow.

About the Family:
  • Mom is a stay-at-home parent and will help with tag-team childcare with the FA. She might handle pick up with the older ones, and then the FA stays back with the younger children, or vice versa.
  • Mom has prior professional childcare experience as a nanny and values clear systems, communication, and teamwork. 
  • Dad works from the office, and occasionally from home.
About the Pets:
  • This family has three indoor cats and one older dog - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties, including child laundry, washing family linens, meal prep, cooking for the kids, light housekeeping, transportation to school and after-school sports, errands, and organizational projects, specialty projects, helping with homework, and working as a team with Mom.
Travel Requirements:
  • Some overnights will be needed, and possible light travel support if the candidate is open to it. 

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children.
  • Previous experience with family assistant or nanny manager duties
  • Previous experience caring for 2+ children at a time.
  • 100% reliabilty and 100% punctuality
  • The ideal candidate will fill the day with fun outings, fit seamlessly into the family's established routine, be consistent, and professional.
  • All candidates must be comfortable caring for mildly sick children when appropriate. 
  • The candidate must be able to work May 21st - May 25th ( a big soccer tournament is happening that week, and they will need all hands on deck).

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $30-$36+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a weekly compensation of $1,050 - $1,260 (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard short-term benefits, including guaranteed 35 hours per week, 4th of July off, workable on occasional 4-day weeks in the summer, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of applicable professional experience, verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
