Located at: Lincoln and I-25 - Heritage Hills

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 6 nights/ week, ideally Monday through Saturday. Shifts are 12-hour overnights, though the family is open to slightly shorter shifts if needed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months.

Start Date: As soon as baby arrives (scheduled induction on 7/14).

Children's Ages: Care will be for one newborn baby boy—first child for the family.

About the Children:

This is the family’s first baby, and care will focus entirely on newborn support, establishing feeding and sleep routines, and helping guide early developmental foundations.

About the Family:

Mom, Dad, grandmother, and two live-in caregivers are in the home. The household is structured and professional.
Mom is very hands-on and strongly values a calm, steady presence in the home. She has expressed that energy in the home is important to her, and she prefers a caregiver who is calm, patient, and emotionally steady.

About the Pets:

The family has two dogs, one 35 lb Blue Heeler mix and one Chihuahua/Dachshund mix- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard newborn care specialist duties are required, including full overnight newborn support.

Responsibilities include:
- Newborn feeding support (bottle feeding / breastmilk handling as applicable)
- Diapering and soothing
- Establishing healthy sleep routines
- Sanitizing bottles, pacifiers, and pump parts
- Baby laundry and linens
- Organizing and restocking nursery supplies
- Keeping all baby-related areas clean and hygienic
- Supporting parents and household team as needed during overnight hours

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

Strong newborn care experience (NCS preferred)
Solid certifications in newborn care or related training
Strong, verifiable references (family would like to personally call references)
Calm, patient, and grounded personality
Ability to remain professional in a structured household environment
Comfortable working alongside multiple caregivers and family members
Proactive, detail-oriented, and hygiene-focused
Emotionally steady and able to match a calm household tone

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering an hour rate of $40-$50/hour based on experience/expertise/certifications.

All candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of night nanny and/or NCS experience
Have strong professional and personal references from former families
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
CPR and First Aid certified
Have all standard vaccinations including flu and TDAP
