Located at: W Harvard Ave & Broadway

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The first month of care will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4/5 p.m. June 24th and beyond will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11am to 5pm, Tuesday & Thursday 8am to 5pm, 36 hours a week guaranteed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: Long-term position for 1+ years

Start Date: May 13th 2024

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 2 years old.

About the Children:

This little guy is loving, active, and adventurous. He loves playing outside, attending story time, and interacting with others. Starting June 24th, he'll attend school half days, 3 days a week.

About the Pets:

One sweet Multipoo also lives in the home. She will mainly be with Mom in her office.

Additional Notes:

This family has had a great relationship with their current nanny. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team long-term.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties include cooking for their son, family meal prep, child's laundry, loading and unloading the dishwasher, general tidying, and light errands.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of recent childcare experience preferably with a toddler.
Potty training experience would be a bonus.
CPR & 1st Aid
The ideal candidate for the job will be 110% reliable, energetic, and patient. They would love a nanny who is creative and can come up with fun activities and ideas.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $25-$27/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,800 - $50,544 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 1 week of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

The family is open to any fun creative outings.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard childhood vaccinations.
