Located at: S. Quebec Street & S. University Blvd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: This family will guarantee 40 hours/week, with flexibility needed up to 45 hours on occasion. The schedule will fall between Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family would love the nanny to help with 1-2 date nights/month.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for two sweet girls ages 8 months old and 5 years old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is in school full time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest. Their eight month old is all giggles and smiles.

About the Pets:

They have two dogs - a 14-year-old Yorkie, and an 11-month-old labradoodle.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including grocery shopping, meal prep/meals 2-3 times/week, family laundry, light tidying up, occasional errands, organizational projects, and engaging the girls in fun & educational activities.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

3+ years of experience with infants, and as a nanny manager or family assistant.
CPR/First Aid Certification
The ideal candidate for this family will be someone who actively engages with the girls, prioritizing building strong connections.
They will also encourage the girls' creativity and playfulness!

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$33+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $72,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
