Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The family is happy to guarantee 31.5 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 5+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3 and 1.5 years old.

About the Children:

This sweet family has two energetic boys who love being outside and staying busy!
Their older son is starting full-day preschool and is an easygoing, social kid who’s into cars, trucks, and digging in the garden.
He’s working with a speech therapist for a speech delay and thrives with structure and low screen time.
Little brother is a lively, on-the-go toddler who wants to do everything big brother does.
He’s curious, sweet, and always moving — loves balls, his ride-on Jeep, and helping Mom with cooking and cleaning.

About the Family:

Mom works full-time outside of the home.
Dad works primarily outside of the home but will occasionally work from home.

About the Pets:

The family has one cat - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including total and complete childcare, child laundry, light tidying, some organizational projects, picking up groceries on occasion, child meal prep, and some simple family meals.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and preschool age children
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
Spanish speaking is a plus
The ideal candidate is flexible and open to occasional evening and weekend hours with advance notice.
Someone proactive, and organized, with a go-with-the-flow attitude and a willingness to get down on the floor (or in the dirt!) to play and engage with the kids is an ideal candidate for this fun family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$31/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $17,640 - $19,530 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
