A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Research Pkwy and Wolf Center Dr

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 2 days a week from 10am - 6pm for a guaranteed 16 hours a week plus 2 -4 overnight shifts a month, with advance notice. Tuesday and Thursdays are the ideal days however the family is open to any 2 days M-Th. Fridays are not needed. The overnight shifts will also fall within M-TH and will end when kids are dropped off at school at 7:30am.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 4 months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: Mid- August 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for 3 children ages 12, 10 and 6.

About the Children:

The oldest daughter is going into 7th grade and is sweet natured, introverted, tender hearted, and needs her alone time knitting and reading to recharge.
She enjoys tennis, swimming, and is on a soccer team.
The 10 year old daughter is chatty, tender and very much extroverted.
She is going into 5th grade, enjoys volleyball and soccer, and is a social butterfly with friends.
Their sporty son is going into 1st grade and is a little engineer who loves drawing and building legos.

About the Family:

Dual working parents.
Dad is working out of state all week except for weekends.
Mom works from home in a private home office except when she travels 2 - 4 overnights a month and she knows her schedule 2 weeks in advance.

About the Pets:

There is one hypoallergenic doodle -- all candidates should be pet-friendly.

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including total and complete childcare, general tidying up of main living areas, children's meals, pick up from school and transporting to activities, light household tasks.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of experience with school-age children.
Previous experience with family assistant duties or caring for multiple children at one time.
Flexibility to stay overnight when Mom travels for work (2-4 times a month)
An active, extroverted nanny who gets along well with people and enjoys going on outings is an ideal fit for this awesome, laid back family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross).
For the 2-4 overnights a month, the nanny is paid her hourly rate for all wake hrs and a flat overnight rate of $150 per night. The kids are asleep from 8pm - 6am.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job or the possibility of providing a family vehicle.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
