Located at: W Alameda Pkwy & C470

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Four days a week , Mondays , Tuesday and Thursday, 6:55am to 5/6pm. They would also need Wednesdays as a 1/2 day or a full day. The family is happy to guarantee 35 to 40 hours per week. Opportunity for more hours in June & July - but not required.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 8, 6 and 3 years old.

About the Children:

The older children are in school full-time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, who is in part-time preschool. He is a little shy to start, but silly and adventurous. His older sisters smother him with love and are very involved in dance and gymnastics after school.

About the Family:

Dual working parents. Mom has a private office space when she works from home.
Mom travels for work, so there is the opportunity for more hours while she is traveling.

About the Pets:

This family has one sweet big pup (Bernese) who is friendly. They would love the family assistant to take him on a daily walk and to the groomers on occasion.

Additional Notes:

This is a wonderful repeat ABC family who has had three nannies through us since their oldest was born. Their current nanny is moving to London, and they are sad to see her go.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties, including children’s laundry, family sheets and towels, unloading and loading the dishwasher, light housekeeping, organizational projects, cooking for the kids, running errands, and general tidying.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel or help with occasional weekends and overnights would be nice, but not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of in-home experience with toddlers and school-age children.
Previous experience with household management.
Further education past high school is required - no degree required.
Must be 100% on time and a good driver.
The ideal candidate will see this role as more than just a job, they genuinely love what they do and have a passion for supporting families and working with children. They will be proactive in the home, anticipating future needs and helping prepare the family for the following day and upcoming weekends. This person must be organized, a great listener, and able to stay on top of busy after-school schedules with ease and confidence.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,000-$54,600 (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 6 days of paid time off (2 working weeks), 6 to 9 paid major holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering $100 in health insurance reimbursement per month.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
