Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 24 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a Short-term position for 3 to 4 months.

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 6, 4 and 2 years old.

About the Children:

The oldest is a bright, structured, and sensitive early elementary student who loves reading, dance, piano, and sports. She’s outgoing, listens well, and is comfortable with independent play and helping with her younger siblings. The middle child is a fun-loving, strong-willed pre-K student with a big personality. She enjoys dance, soccer, art, and music, does well at school, and keeps the household lively. The youngest attends preschool, is affectionate and eager to join in with his sisters. He loves trucks, trains, books, and is making steady progress with speech support. The family is very active and outdoors-oriented, so an energetic nanny would be a great fit.

There are no pets in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties, including children's laundry, family linens, picking up around the house, light housekeeping, organizational projects, meal prep, occasional errands, dishes, and pick up and drop offs.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 year of nanny experience toddlers and school-age children
Previous experience with household management duties.
One or two sentences about the ideal candidate for the job
The ideal candidate will be warm, flexible, and genuinely invested in the children as individuals. The kids do best with someone who isn’t overly strict or rule-heavy, but instead brings a calm, easygoing presence while still providing structure and guidance when needed. Open and honest communication is very important in this home, mom has a direct communication style and values someone who will share updates, speak up if something comes up, and keep everyone on the same page. Above all, reliability is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering 1 week of paid time off during spring break.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
