Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 38 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 2+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: August 1st

Generally a happy kid, she’s currently in the boundary-testing phase and thrives with consistency and engagement.
She enjoys baby classes, swim lessons, park outings, and is always up for an adventure!

About the Family:

Dual-working parents who both work outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one Labrador retriever - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family had a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2 years but is relocating. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare duties, child laundry, meal prep for the child, light tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with toddlers.
Comfortable driving on the job.
Ok with pets in the home.
The ideal caregiver will be attentive, safety-focused, and patient. Someone who can be silly and goofy with her, but also laid-back and calm when needed, will be the best fit.
A warm and fun personality paired with a watchful eye will help her thrive.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to total compensation of $8,512 - $10,640 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
