Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3 and 1.

About the Children:

The oldest is an energetic, curious preschooler who loves cars, trucks, and all things "boy."
He attends preschool from 8:30–11:40 a.m. and naps daily from 2–4 p.m. alongside his little sister.
The youngest is sweet as pie - happy, giggly, and on the verge of walking. She’s a great eater who loves dolls and thrives on closeness and cuddles.

About the Family:

Dad is a pilot, so he is gone frequently.
Mom stays at home.

About the Pets:

The family has one pug - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, child meal prep, child laundry, and light tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
Previous teaching experience would be great but is not required.
The ideal nanny is creative, playful, and flexible, with a go-with-the-flow attitude and an understanding of Montessori principles.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $43,680 - $49,920 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement of $75/month.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
