Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 45 hours per week with 5 hours of overtime.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year .

Start Date: The end of January 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for one newborn who is 6 weeks old.

About the Children:

Their sweet baby girl is a happy and healthy bundle of joy.
She loves to coo and laugh and continues to show off her strength during tummy time.
She is settling into a great eating and napping schedule.

About the Family:

Dual working parents who both work full-time outside of the home.
They both have the flexibility to work at home on occasion.
Mom will be returning to work in February and is hoping to have the nanny overlap with her at the end of her maternity leave in January.

About the Pets:

This family has one dog who loves her daily walks - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

These wonderful first-time parents are seeking an extensive of themselves and are looking forward to welcoming in a stellar nanny to their household-- preferably for years to come.
They currently have an ABC Newborn Care Specialist who is providing night support and they have an amazing rapport with her.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and primarily baby-related tasks.
Light household tasks include: tidying up, occasional errands, grocery pick up, and light meal prep.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ years of professional nanny experience with infants.
An education background is preferred but not a requirement.
A certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) would get special consideration.
The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, a good communicator, an educator and is seeking a family to grow with for the next several years.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $35-$40hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours with overtime, this equates to an annualized compensation of $86,450 - $98,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
