Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with 27 guaranteed hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 4 months

Children's Ages: Care will be for one healthy infant baby boy who will be 2 months old at time of care.
About the Children:
  • This sweet baby boy was recently welcomed into the family and is thriving. The family is seeking an experienced infant nanny who can provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care while supporting healthy routines during these important early months.
About the Family:
  • These are first-time parents who are excited to welcome an experienced caregiver into their home.

  • Mom works a hybrid schedule and splits her time between working from home and the office.

  • Dad is a corporate attorney with an unpredictable schedule and may occasionally work from home or participate in conference calls throughout the day.
About the Pets:
  • The family has two friendly mixed-breed dogs—a Blue Heeler mix and a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. No pet care is required. The dogs attend daycare on Thursdays, and all candidates must be pet friendly.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has a great relationship with their current two professional live-in caregivers who provide around-the-clock care for the family's grandmother. They are kind, respectful, and easy to work with. The nanny should be comfortable sharing common spaces, communicate well with others, and enjoy being part of a collaborative household.
  • The baby has a crib camera in place.
  • The family is looking for a nanny with a professional attitude who can keep personal matters separate from work and maintain appropriate boundaries while in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties related to the infant are required, including:

  • Providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care
  • Making bottles with formula and/or pumped milk
  • Tracking feedings, diaper changes, naps, and other notes on an app
  • Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
  • Baby laundry and keeping baby clothing organized
  • Sanitizing bottles and baby feeding supplies
  • Maintaining a clean and organized nursery, bottle prep and cleaning station in the kitchen
  • Monitoring developmental milestones
  • Taking stroller walks and enjoying outdoor time when weather permits
  • Maintaining open communication with parents regarding baby's day
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

  • At least 2 years of recent full-time infant nanny experience
  • Excellent infant care knowledge and strong understanding of developmental milestones
  • Outstanding professional references from previous families
  • Warm, nurturing, and attentive caregiving style
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-player mentality and ability to work harmoniously in a shared household
  • Comfortable caring for a first child and supporting first-time parents
  • Comfortable following the family's routines and preferences

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering standard federal holidays that occur during the contract period (including Thanksgiving), accrued sick pay, and 3 days of accrued PTO (available after the first four weeks of employment).

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
