Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family is open to 4 days per week, with 4 10-hour days OR 5 days per week with 5 8-hour days. Hours will be 7am or 8am to 4pm to 5pm They will guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one healthy infant baby boy who will be about 2 months old at time of care.

About the Children:

This sweet baby boy was recently welcomed into the family and is thriving. The family is seeking an experienced infant nanny who can provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care while supporting healthy routines during these important early months.
The baby has a crib camera in place.

About the Family:

These are first-time parents who are excited to welcome an experienced caregiver into their home.
Mom works a hybrid schedule and splits her time between working from home and the office. Dad is has a demanding position with an unpredictable schedule and may occasionally work from home or participate in conference calls throughout the day.

About the Pets:

The family has two friendly mixed-breed dogs—a Blue Heeler mix and a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. No pet care is required. The dogs attend daycare on Thursdays, and all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current two professional live-in caregivers who provide around-the-clock care for the family's grandmother. They are kind, respectful, and easy to work with. The nanny should be comfortable sharing common spaces, communicate well with others, and enjoy being part of a collaborative household.
The family is looking for a nanny with a professional attitude who can keep personal matters separate from work and maintain appropriate boundaries while in the home.
Family had a wonderful experience with their ABC Newborn Care Specialist and they truly appreciated her newborn/infant knowledge and support. They'd love someone who has prior NCS experience.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All nanny and family assistant duties, including providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the infant, preparing bottles with formula and/or pumped milk, tracking feedings, diapers, naps, and developmental updates in an app, washing and sanitizing bottles and feeding supplies, completing baby laundry, and keeping the nursery, clothing, and bottle-prep areas clean and organized. Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities at home and within the neighborhood, including stroller walks and outdoor time when weather permits. As for Family Assistant duties, including grocery shopping and household errands, Amazon returns, organizing the pantry, kitchen, and other areas of the home, assisting with garage organization projects, transporting the family dogs to boarding, doggy daycare, or veterinary appointments as needed, coordinating with and meeting household vendors (HVAC, plumbers, deliveries, etc.), and completing occasional errands or projects at the family's second Denver property located near I-25 and 20th Street. A family vehicle will be provided for all work-related driving.

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

A minimum of 3+ years of recent, full-time infant nanny experience is required; additional experience is preferred.
Strong infant-care knowledge and a solid understanding of developmental milestones are essential.
Family would prefer a candidate who has NCS training or experience.
College degree is not required but is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing and attentive, with the confidence to care for a first child and support first-time parents. The family is looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and communicative, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable following the family’s established routines and preferences.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $35-$40/hour (gross). At 40 guaranteed hours per week, $35–$40/hour equals $72,800–$83,200 gross annually.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

The family is offering two weeks of paid time off, paid standard federal holidays, accrued sick pay and a family vehicle for use while working.

Required Qualifications

Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
