Located at: W Ken Caryl Ave & C470, Littleton
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. 4 days a week and then one shorter day. Mom is happy to guarantee 45 hours a week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year or more.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 9 months and 3 years old.
About the Children:

Mom has two young children with distinct personalities and routines. The oldest child is in school part-time, 3 days a week. She is sweet, funny, and full of personality, with a strong will and a curious streak. Mom is working on consistency with discipline, encouraging good manners, and helping her communicate effectively. She enjoys activities like swimming, gymnastics, and dance classes with her cousin. Her younger sister will be home full-time and is on a great schedule. She is an easygoing, happy baby with lots of energy and an overall sweet temperament. She’s currently receiving treatment for recurring ear infections and is scheduled to have tubes placed in her ears in late August.

About the Family:
  • This is a loving single mother working in a demanding role in the medical field. The family has recently experienced the unexpected passing of the father and is navigating this difficult transition with strength and resilience. For now, they are staying with the children’s aunt (mom’s sister-in-law) while mom finalizes next steps and searches for a new home in Littleton.
About the Pets:
  • One sweet dog lives in the home.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has a great relationship with their last au pair and is seeking a loving and stable nanny to help keep their lives running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard nanny duties, including cooking for the children, packing lunches, children’s laundry, light housekeeping, letting the dog out, and unloading and loading the dishwasher.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
  • knowledge of childhood education and development.
  • A Second language in Spanish would be ideal; however, not required.
  • The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, steady, and highly dependable nanny who can provide a warm, nurturing presence for the children during a time of transition. Given mom’s demanding role in the medical field, the nanny should be 100% reliable and on time, proactive, organized, and able to manage the day smoothly with minimal direction.
  • All candidates must be flexible and able to stay 15 to 30 minutes later on a rare occasion, if mom is stuck with a patient in an emergency.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $1,215-$1,440 a week (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $63,180- $74,880 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 10 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, and a vehicle for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations.
