Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:45 -4:15. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for 8 month old twin girls.

About the Children:

One daughter is very playful, inquisitive and observant -- she is giggly, loves attention and is sitting independently and close to crawling.
Her sister is very loving, adventurous and on the move -- crawling, standing up and exploring her surroundings.
Both girls are on a pretty regimented eating / napping schedule - taking both bottles and solids and Mom nurses during the day as well.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with Dad primarily working outside of the home except for 1.5 days a week.
Mom works full-time in her private home office space in the basement.

About the Pets:

This family has one friendly indoor cat.

These are wonderful first time parents who are seeking a stellar nanny to join their parenting team and help support and guide them throughout each stage of their daughters' development.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and baby-related household tasks: sanitizing bottles/toys, baby laundry, and general tidying up of main living areas.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of professional nanny experience with newborns / infants.
Experience with twins is a huge plus but not a requirement.
Previous experience caring for multiple children close in age at one time.
Ideal candidate is loving, patient, attentive, safety-focused and has a calm and pleasant demeanor.
A great communicator who enjoys outside play and daily stroller walks to nearby parks would be a great match for this casual family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $43,680 - $49,920 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.
Awesome perk to have a 3 day weekend every weekend!

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
