Located at: I-25 & E470

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The ideal schedule will be Tuesday & Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6/7 p.m., with a few days a month being 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 16 to 20 hours per week for the right person. They are open to three, 7-hour days instead of two 8-hour days.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months with the opportunity to extend, if extended they can offer some benefits.

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Light childcare will be for a 14-year-old girl.

About the Children:

Most of the day will be focused on household management; however, light after-school care will be needed for a bright and active 14-year-old girl. She is a straight-A student involved in extracurricular activities, especially theater and lacrosse. The Family Assistant may occasionally assist with school or bus stop pickups and drop-offs. On evenings when her parents are working late or traveling, the Family Assistant may be asked to prepare dinner for her.

About the Family:

This is a dual-working parent household, and both parents travel frequently for work.

About the Pets:

One small and sweet pup lives in this home. The Family Assistant would be responsible for walking the dog and scheduling grooming appointments - all candidates must be pet friendly.

This is a busy household seeking an organized, proactive, and dependable Family Assistant to provide an extra set of hands in day-to-day household management.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

This role includes all standard Family Assistant duties, such as:

Household organization (light cleaning, dishes, and general tidying)
Light cooking / meal prep
Running errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, household shopping)
Family laundry
Scheduling and calendar management
Pet care
Helping obtain quotes for household services
Occasional transportation for the girl.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required, but the Family Assistant may be needed for an occasional overnight stay when the parents travel.

2+ years of Family Assistant, Nanny Manager, or House Management experience
A laid-back yet highly organized approach
Proactive with strong independent problem-solving skills
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
A warm and engaging personality

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $33-$38/hour (gross).

Required Qualifications

Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)

Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
