Located at: Belleview & University

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Three days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the most important days the family assistant can pick the third day. Hours will be 1pm to 7pm. The family is happy to guarantee 18 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position until July 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 7 and 5 years old.

About the Children:

Both children are in school full-time, so primary care will be after-school. The boys are big into sports and will have some scheduled after-school activities. They will need an organized and responsible family assistant to manage their schedule.

About the Family:

Dual working parents. Mom works Australian hours from a private office, starting her day at 2 pm daily.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their last two nannies in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties are expected. The children will be in school until around 3–4pm, so the family assistant should be proactive in the home during the earlier hours, helping with laundry, dishes, organizational projects, light housekeeping, tidying and putting items away, meal prep and cooking for the boys. In the afternoons, the role shifts to childcare and managing after-school activities, transportation, and homework support. The family is looking for someone who can help keep the home running smoothly and ensure the boys stay organized, on track, and supported both at home and with their activities.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel would be nice, but not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny manager or family assistant experience.
Must be active and engaging, they want an FA to engage and play football, ride bikes, and enjoy time with the boys.
Previous experience with household management duties is required.
A further level of education would be preferred; however, it is not required.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, observant, and comfortable taking initiative around the home without needing to be asked. The family is seeking an organized family assistant who can be a positive role model for the children and help maintain structure in the day-to-day routine. The parents prefer to handle discipline directly and ask that any concerns be communicated to them so they can address them together.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family offers guaranteed hours and pays for any paid major holidays that fall on a scheduled workday.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard childhood vaccinations.
