Located at: 8th and Colorado

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Ideally Wednesday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m with some flexibility on days of the week and additional hours on occasion. Wednesday is required. The family is happy to guarantee 27-30 hours per week depending on the candidates needs.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 4.5 months - longer if needed based on the daycare waitlist.

Start Date: August 3rd to December 18th

Children's Ages: Care will be for one infant who is 2.5 months old.

About the Children:

This infant is happy and healthy! He is on a good schedule and is combo feeding.

About the Family:

Mom works a part-time hybrid schedule and will be in and out.
Dad WFH full-time but travels often.

About the Pets:

This family has two indoor cats - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including baby laundry, washing and prepping bottles, sanitizing and rotating toys, and light housekeeping.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of recent nanny experience with infants
A background in or a candidate pursuing studies in health care, child development, or related fields is preferred but not required.
Some form of higher education is preferred.
The ability to go up and down flights of stairs is required.
Proof of the initial COVID-19 vaccines
The ideal candidate will be 100% confident caring for such a little one, is flexible, casual, and have safety at the top of mind.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $33-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $17,820 - $28,900 for the 20 weeks (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid holidays (Thanksgiving and the day after) and paid sick days.
The family has a trip planned the week of September 7th. The candidate will be paid and off.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
Infant CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including the 2 original COVID-19 vaccines and tdap.
