Located at: Evergreen

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 3 days a week total, 2 days are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the other day is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The candidate will be able to choose their 3 days. The family is happy to guarantee 27 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 7 months.

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4 and 2 years old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is sweet and sensitive. He loves Spider-Man, going to school, and riding his bike outside.
The youngest child is very high-energy and independent. She loves to color and snuggles with her stuffies.
Both children are in school Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

About the Family:

Mom is a stay at home mom.
Dad has the flexibility to work inside or outside of the home.

About the Pets:

The family has 2 cats - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a good relationship with their past nannies. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including school pick up, child laundry, meal prep, light organizing, and general tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children.
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
Knowledge of child development will be a huge plus.
The ideal candidate can think critically, stay calm, and is happy to communicate with Mom and Dad.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $22,680 - $26,460 over the 7 months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 1 week of paid time off, paid holidays on contracted days, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
