Located at: Aspen
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day with weekends off! The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-in option is available. Family is happy to provide a private, furnished bedroom and bathroom. Live-out option is available but the candidate must be comfortable spending the night when dad travels for work.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: March/April 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children: 4 years old and a newborn on the way!
About the Children:
  • The oldest child is in school full time and loves to play outside during all of Colorado's seasons. He likes to ski, play hockey, and play in the dirt. He is a typical boy!
  • His baby sister will arrive in May!
About the Family:
  • Mom stays home.
  • Dad WFH and travels a lot for work.
About the Pets:
  • There are no pets in the home.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has had great relationships with their past nannies. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties including helping with the morning routine, running errands, light laundry, light housekeeping, organizing toys, baby-related tasks, meal prep for the children, and helping prepare dinner for the family.
  • Primary childcare will be for the newborn with occasional care for both children.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel and a passport is required for the position. The family travels to places like Mexico, Europe, St Barts, and Montana each year.
  • These are great vacations and advanced notice will be given.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ years of family assistant experience with newborns through school-age children
  • A college degree/higher education is preferred.
  • Family would love someone with knowledge or training in child development, but it is not a requirement.
  • A second language would be a huge perk!
  • Tech savvy is important as the family is very much-so.
  • The ideal candidate can stick to a schedule, is reliable, active, has a positive attitude, and can take initiative on the job.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $40-$45/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $83,200 - $93,600 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick days.
  • For live-in, the family assistant can use the family vehicle and will be provided a private bedroom and bathroom.
  • For live-out, the family assistant will need to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for gas and mileage.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
